We are a team of engineers and designers based in Shenzhen, China. But before that, we are first and foremost a group of passionate tech enthusiasts and smart home "tinkerers."
Our story began with a shared frustration: we longed for an efficient, elegant, and seamlessly connected digital workspace, but the reality was desks cluttered with incompatible devices, tangled cables, and complex interfaces. Our spaces were filled with fragmented human-machine interactions across various home devices (like lights, air conditioners, and curtains). We believe technology should not add complexity but simplify life and spark creativity.
This shared dream brought us together. Hardware architects, software engineers, and user experience designers from globally renowned tech companies left their comfortable positions to form this team named UltraBar. Though rooted in China, our vision has always been global. We are determined to use world-class design and engineering capabilities to solve real pain points for users worldwide.
